Inspiring a greener, fairer approach
Hexagon actively supports and promotes the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) on the environment, labour practices, human rights and anti-corruption in its operations and in relation to external stakeholders.
In order to work towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Hexagon takes accountability for the environmental, social and governance challenges in all steps of the value chain.

Our impact
- Joined the Business Ambition for 1.5°C and defined net-zero carbon emissions targets, which are currently under validation by the SBTi
- Increased share of renewable electricity to 46%
Our goals
- Implement an environmental management system (ISO 14001 certification or equivalent) in our major production facilities
- Increase share of renewables up to 100% in our energy mix
- Define a water management programme for the sites in high-risk areas
- Send no waste to landfills by 2030
